Maryann Schneider is a Reverend at Living Word Congregational Church.
Rev. Maryann Schneider, is a woman of God who has a passion for defending the Word of God and winning souls to Christ. She was radically saved in 1995 at the age of 20 and has not looked back since. Rev. Schneider has been preaching & teaching the Word of God in various capacities since 2003 and was licensed and ordained in 2008 at the Living Word Congregational Church under Sr. Pastor, Roy Aiken, Jr. whom she considers her Father in the ministry. She is a part of the Sr. Ministry Team at LWCC and has been a member since 2002.
Rev. Schneider, has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from the Northwestern Theological Seminary. She was certified as a Christian Counselor from the National Association of Christian Counseling in 2004. She has also served as the Chairman of the Christian Fellowship Academy School Board since 2012.
She currently serves as the Director of Academic Affairs at the Westmoreland School of Ministry in Greensburg, PA and has taught numerous Biblical studies, Theology, Counseling and Practical Ministry Courses at the school . She believes that part of her ministry is to help others develop a passion for the Word of God and equip them to use their God-given gifts to “Earnestly Contend for the Faith” as stated in Jude 3.
Rev. Schneider has coordinated several conferences, and has spoken at several Women’s Conferences and Women’s Ministry events. She loves to worship and to lift up the name of Jesus.
Rev. Maryann and her husband currently oversee the ministry, Restoring the Faith, Inc. where they take the gospel into the public arena via a weekly radio broadcast and monthly prayer at local courthouses, etc. and seek to break down the racial and denominational barriers that hinder unity among the body of Christ.
Rev. Schneider currently resides in Greensburg, with her husband, Pastor Dave Schneider and daughter, Hannah. She currently is employed as a Realtor, Rental Agent through Coldwell Banker Real Estate in N. Huntingdon, PA, and desires some day to serve full-time in the ministry.
